JuiceMeUp v1.3 Available!
Q1: Why can't I see any outlets on the map?
A:
Make sure you’ve granted Location Access (iOS Settings → JuiceMeUp → Location → “While Using” or “Always”).
Ensure your filter chips (USB, Wall, Wireless, Other) are toggled on—tapped chips are highlighted in blue.
If you’re in a brand-new area, there simply may not be any pins yet. Try zooming out or adding one yourself!
Q2: How do I add a new outlet?
A:
Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner.
In the form that appears, select the outlet type (USB, Wall, Wireless, Other).
(Optional) Enter any notes (e.g. “By the barista station”).
Tap Save. Your pin will appear instantly on the map.
Q3: My outlet won’t save—what should I do?
A:
Verify you have an active Internet connection.
Check for any error banners at the top of the screen—if you see one, please screenshot it.
Restart the app and try again. If it still fails, email us (below) with your device details.
Q4: Can I edit or delete an outlet I’ve added?
A:
Not yet—in this initial release outlets are permanent. We plan to add “Edit” & “Delete” in v1.1.0.
Q5: How do I change location permissions after installation?
A:
Open iOS Settings on your device.
Scroll down and tap JuiceMeUp.
Tap Location and choose While Using the App or Always.
Ensure Precise Location is ON for best accuracy.
Map Won’t Center Automatically
• Force-quit and relaunch the app to reset the location request.
• Toggle Location permissions off/on in iOS Settings.
App Crashes on Launch
• Ensure you’re running iOS 18+ and JuiceMeUp v1.0.0 or later.
• If the crash persists, reinstall the app and contact us with crash logs.
No Filter Chips Visible
• Check that you’re on the latest app version (see App Store).
• Rotate your device or zoom the map—chips may auto-hide when very zoomed out.
